This past Friday, the WWE Universe witnessed the return of the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion: “The Head of the Table” Roman Reigns, the SmackDown return of Kevin Owens, the debut of WWE SmackDown General Manager: Nick Aldis and more on the season premiere of WWE Friday Night SmackDown but tonight is the Raw Superstars’ turn to step up their game for the season premiere of WWE Monday Night Raw!  Here’s what we know at this time.

  • The Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions: “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes & “Main Event” Jey Uso will defend the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship against the former champions, The Judgment Day (Finn Bálor & “Señor Money in the Bank” Damian Priest!  At WWE Fastlane, the team of Rhodes and Uso successfully defeated The Judgment Day to win the championship.  At last week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, the new champions defeated former champions Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn to retain the championship.  This past Friday at WWE SmackDown, Rhodes and Uso had their second championship match and successfully defeated A-Town Down Under (Austin Theory & “The Dynamite From Down Under” Grayson Waller) to retain their championship.  Will the new Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions continue their momentum and retain the championship again tonight or will The Judgment Day be able to regain the gold they once wore?
  • The WWE Intercontinental Championship will be on the line when the WWE Intercontinental Champion: “The Ring General” Gunther defends the championship against “Big” Bronson Reed!  This past Monday on WWE Raw, Reed defeated Alpha Academy’s Chad Gable and “The One and Only” Ricochet in a Triple-Threat Match to earn a shot at the WWE Intercontinental Championship.  Meanwhile, Gunther is continuing to be the longest reigning WWE Intercontinental Champion in the history of the World Wrestling Entertainment.  When these two come face-to-face tonight, there will be over 600 pounds inside the squared circle.  Will Gunther continue his historical reign or will we crown a new champion in the form of Bronson Reed?
  • “The One and Only” Ricochet goes one-on-one against Shinsuke Nakamura in a Falls Count Anywhere Match!  Throughout 2023, Ricochet and Nakamura have found themselves at odds with each other.  However; three weeks ago Nakamura attacked Ricochet and put “The One and Only” on the shelf until he returned this past week.  However; tonight both individuals are looking to get back on the winning side of the record book.  Both men are exciting to watch in the ring and are ready to show that they are the future of the WWE.  This match could be the match that propels them into that next level.  Who will have their hand raised after a physical and brutal Falls Count Anywhere Match?
  • In a non-title match, Shayna Baszler will go one-on-one with the Women’s World Champion: “The Eradicator” Rhea Ripley of The Judgment Day.  Baszler wants a shot at the Women’s World Championship and she might just get her opportunity if she’s able to pin or force Ripley to submit.

All of this and more is scheduled for tonight’s season premiere of WWE Monday Night RawWWE Monday Night Raw airs live tonight on the USA Network at 8:00 P.M. Eastern/7:00 P.M. Central.
